About IFS
Welcome Everyone! IFS is an incredibly powerful way of transforming your life. If you are on this webpage it is probably because you already know this and you are interested in learning more about how to practice IFS on your own. This FREE 8-hour, live, Zoom introductory workshop to IFS personal practice is for everyone interested in learning how to practice IFS individually.

What is IFS as Personal Practice?
Developed by Dr. Richard Schwartz, IFS originally started as a model to be used in psychotherapy. Throughout the years, it has been evolving into a personal practice that you can do by yourself. In this workshop you will learn about the basics and tools that you need to be successful in establishing a powerful Self-Led IFS Practice.
At the same time, there are a few aspects of IFS where caution is warranted and that may require the support of a trained professional. In this course, you will learn about these instances and how to safely practice IFS on your own.
IMPORTANT: This course is not for therapists seeking IFS practitioner training. For this kind of training you can find more information here: ifs-institute.com or ifsca.ca. If you would like to sign up for this course to have a general introductory personal experience of the model, you are welcome to do so.
Details of the Workshop
Mode of Instruction: Live, Zoom, face to face (camera on).
Course Level: Introductory. No previous knowledge / experience needed.
Course Structure: Four, 2 hour sessions delivered once per week for 4 weeks.
Days and Times: Mondays from 8 am to 10 am US Pacific Time for 4 weeks.

I am deeply convinced that the need to further the knowledge and Practice of IFS is of paramount important to this world and to the mental health and wellbeing of all of humanity. I dedicate my time free of charge to offer this course and I take this commitment very seriously. I would expect the same from you if you would like to take it.

Why am I teaching these introductory courses for free?
When I first stumbled into IFS my life was in shatters even after 20 years of a diligent mindfulness practice. The plain truth was that I had been ignoring and trying to push away my parts as a way to alleviate my inner pain and quiet my mind, and at some point, my parts would have no more of that!
I welcomed that crisis and decided to stay curious about it. This eventually led me to IFS and then IFS completely changed my life. In a very short period of time, I went from a daily generalized sense of deep dread, anxiety, and panic attacks, to an amazing experience of inner clarity, connection, and space.
One of the greatest impediments I discovered throughout my crisis was the difficulty to access affordable, high quality, IFS training and support.
Seeing the impact IFS had in me, I decided to get trained in IFS and start using this opportunity to align my more than 20 years of experience in leadership development and life coaching to share the basics of IFS self-practice with as many people as possible in the most accessible way possible.
As you may know, IFS was initially created to be used in therapy settings. However, as time has gone by, IFS has also been moving towards becoming a daily personal practice with extraordinary results.
My hope for you is that you learn and apply the principles of IFS as a personal practice in a way that can transform your life powerfully and profoundly.
Hopefully, one day, like me, in your own level of comfort, you can support and heal your own parts as well as introduce, guide, or encourage others to learn, share, practice, and live from these extraordinary new inner principles.
